Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco
Customs Regulations: Forty fluid ounces of wines and spirits are allowable. Any spirits in excess of this will be confiscated but duty can be paid on excess wine. One half pound of tobacco or 50 cigars or 200 cigarettes are allowed per consignment.
Firearms and Weapons
Required Documents: Prohibited.
Household Goods and Personal Effects
Required Documents: Original OBL and legible copy of inventory
Customs Regulations: Goods must have been in use and possession of owner for over 1 year. Must be imported within 3 months of owner’s arrival. Should not be resold or exchanged – a declaration of all of the above must be signed by the importer.
Clearance: Customer presence required for clearance? Yes
Remarks: All shipments are examined by Customs which usually entails the posting of a bond to secure duty. Also a deposit is made to Customs to cover overtime charges and arrangements must be made to transport the Customs Officer.

Pets and Animals
Required Documents: Veterinarian’s Certificate of good health.
Customs Regulations: All motor vehicles are dutiable regardless of age or condition and only diplomats and other persons enjoying duty concessions are exempted.
Remarks: For all left hand drive vehicles, permission must be obtained from the Licensing Authority before they can be imported.
