Hello to all,

We want to update everyone and express our appreciation for how our shipment was handled, on both sides of the globe. Our shipment has arrived safely without any hiccups at all.

David, you were a patient, helpful resource. No question was left unanswered… and I know I asked a lot of questions!
The Armstrong packing team (Vitali and Tony) was exceptional.

During transport
Additional questions were responded to promptly by both David in the US (Rainier) and Teresa in New Zealand (World Moving).
It was great to see the vessel tracking site and know where our cargo was at any given point.

In New Zealand – World Moving Company
Teresa took over and was as patient and kind as was David. Everything was extremely smooth.
We were very impressed with the unpacking crew (Ina, Nathan, and Les); they were polite, careful, and very professional.

We are still unpacking boxes but so far, we have found everything to be in excellent condition.

Thank you so much for all you did to make this transition seamless.

Hi, David.

Everything was great. As luck would have it, the ship ported when we had visitors here from the state, so we had to have things delivered in and around our activities. That ended up costing us a bit more, because of Claudia’s company having to hold the good for a couple of days before delivery, but that was not a big deal.

We didn’t want the delivery guys to have to stay around all day while we unpacked, as we were going to wait to unpack everything until our guests leave. They are still here.

We wanted you to know that we have been very pleased with the services of your company and won’t hesitate to recommend you to others down here who might be looking to do the same thing. So far, everything we have unpacked was extremely well packed, and nothing even looks slightly dinged. While we haven’t unpacked everything, we have no reason to expect any of the rest of it to be any different.

Please let us know where we can write a review for you that would be most helpful for your company. We won’t do it until we have everything unpacked, but have no reason to think our current opinions will change in the slightest.

Thanks for being so available, and for taking such good care of our stuff.

Thanks for following up. Our move went very smoothly—the movers arrived promptly, communicated well, and were careful with both our belongings and our apartment. We’re about halfway unpacked and, so far, everything seems to be in good shape. I’d like to credit the California movers again for being so thorough with their packing that I’m pretty sure our things could have survived being moved by a Fast & Furious stunt team.

All together, this was about as good a process as I could have asked for. I’m very grateful you were able to work with me despite the short notice back in July.

I used Rainier Overseas Movers to ship over 2,000 pounds of personal belongings halfway around the world, and I honestly could not be more impressed.
Shortly after my initial inquiry, I was contacted by Don Arroyo, who guided me through the entire process from start to finish. Don took the time to clearly explain what was required, what documents I needed, and how everything would work to ensure a smooth and successful move. What truly stood out was his responsiveness — every single question I had was answered quickly and thoroughly. In an age where you expect delays and silence, Don was consistently prompt, helpful, and reassuring.
On collection day, the crew arrived and packed everything quickly, carefully, and professionally, creating a detailed inventory that I was able to submit to HMRC, allowing me to avoid paying import duty. This, too, had been clearly explained in advance by Don, which made what could have been a stressful process feel straightforward and manageable.
Throughout the shipment, I was kept informed of progress and expected delivery dates. While there were a couple of minor delays (which are understandable given the scale of an international move), I was genuinely blown away by how quickly my belongings ultimately arrived.
On delivery day, Christopher (and another team member whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch) arrived and unloaded everything into my ground-floor storage in under 30 minutes. Once again, they were professional, efficient, and extremely helpful.
To say that I am thrilled is a massive understatement. Given the sheer logistics of shipping household goods across the planet, I am genuinely astounded by how smoothly everything went, how well I was taken care of, and the fact that everything arrived intact.
I cannot recommend Rainier Overseas Movers highly enough. If you’re considering an international move, you will be in exceptionally good hands.
